Testimonials
“I always love the work Emmy does & love how interactive her classes are. I especially love the practical uses she shares and the research/assessments. I feel better prepared as an OT now diving into these client factors regarding spirituality and beliefs than I did before taking this course. Thanks as always! Highly recommend.” Magan Higgins Gramling, OTR/L, CTP
“I really enjoyed this class. I especially liked the opportunity to have breakout sessions to apply and practice the information right away. I’ve been a peds OT for 14+ years and added integrative health coaching into my services 3 years ago and this course offered lots of validation, rooted research, and continued to light a fire for helping clients and their families go inward for healing and wellness.” Shauna Bell, MOTR/L, INHC
“Thank you Emmy, for creating a space for us showing us what is possible within our field. Great information, resources, and take away material.” Kate Drummond, OTR/L
“Very informative and refreshing class! These types of courses revive my love for the OT profession!” Samantha Sponder, OTR/L
“Incredibly interesting and valuable information with resources (tools) for new learning. The assessments were new information but confirmed many areas have been intuitively integrated into treatment, rapport building, and identifying what is meaningful. Emmy’s compassion and knowledge has unveiled a new direction that will be a guide to my professional and spiritual journey for myself and others. Thank you!” Anna McElhaney, COTA/L
“Emmy Vadnais presents a clear and concise presentation for including spirituality in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention. Her literature review and references to OTPF 4th edition verifies our scope of practice absolutely supports addressing spirituality and beliefs. I believe this is essential to quality care.” Jenny Hubert
“Spirituality and Belief in OT was a great intro level class to take in support of the practical application of exploration and support for spiritual and belief practices for clients engaging in Occupational Therapy!” Jennifer Mannino, OTR/L, CST certified & Spiritual Direction certified
“This class assisted me in finding direction with how to discuss this issue with my coworkers and within documentation. I am very comfortable talking about these topics with my patients, but I didn’t have the constructive knowledge or confidence to discuss this with my peers. Also, this course was super helpful with assisting ME in integrating ALL aspects of my life into each moment, including my role as an acute care OT and being human.” Meghan Flesch, OTD, OTR/L, Reiki Master
